Evie is 1 year, 8 months and 4 weeks old; Eric is 3.5 years old!

Photos taken this week: 16

This week (on Dec 9) Eric said a 7 word sentence: “Ok, I’ll go look in my room.”

When Evie is doing something she knows she isn’t supposed to do (like stand on the snack table) and sees you watching her, she waves goodbye to you. I think she’s hoping you will disappear and she can continue her rule-breaking, lol!!!

Having a big boy bed is a lot to get used to. This might take a while...

Reading Christmas books with Gran and Papa Steve.

This girl loves hats!

Eric very carefully lined up all his dino momas and matching babies on the credenza.

We love it when our neighbors come to visit! They are so much fun!

Eric has his first visit to the dentist and loves the stuffed animal dog with huge teeth!

Evie is 1 year, 8 months and 3 weeks old; Eric is 3.5 years old!

Photos taken this week: 31

This week (on Dec 4) Evie learned how to open doors all by herself!

I got an email from Creating Keepsakes magazine, they love my submission and will be publishing my photo of Evie in their magazine next December!

Eric built a spaceship! Don't ya just love the cheesy smile? I said, "Say cheese," not "make cheese," lol!

Evie LOVES her kitty cat Mook! She puts her head on his back as if hugging him and when she is done she says, "Awe!" like he is the cutest thing ever and her hug to him was also the cutest thing ever, lol!

I love it when they play together. I love hearing the giggles, I love seeing the sharing and camaraderie, I love that they are working together as a team, helping each other and having fun doing it. It seems like Eric has waited so long for Evie to be old enough to understand peer-to-peer play, and now that she does, they just have a blast together!
In this instance, they are not building blocks. They are pretending the wagon is an alligator. Eric is working the yellow mouth and Evie is feeding the alligator. Every time Evie gets her hand close enough to throw in a block/treat, the alligator tries to bite her. As you can see by the look on their faces, this is pretty darn hilarious!

Papa Steve created this very special personalized Christmas train just for Eric and Evie. He made it and painted it and decorated not only the train, but the entire town that the train circles.

Both kids were ecstatic about the custom train present! Eric very diligently listened to instructions on how to operate the train...

and Evie picked up the train car with her name on it and ran away, lol!

This is a great photo of the town before Tornado Evelyn hit, injurying thousands and destroying the town to almost nothing. (Everytime Scott or I turned around, Evie was handing one of us another tree, pretty soon we had a stack of trees on our fireplace mantel. Maybe next Christmas we will buy the town some tornado insurance as their gift!)

Eric sleeps in his big boy bed now, so he now thinks he has the freedom to get up at 2am and eat goldfish crackers.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Bailey wants the Thanksgiving scraps, lol!

Eric's school put on a Thanksgiving feast so I made a 'turkey' for him to take.

Eric got to help chop celery for the stuffing!

Here's the feast! Eric is sitting next to his friend Jacob (to Eric's left).

Evie was also invited to the feast! She really made herself at home by playing with all the toys (she liked Mr. Potato Head and the cash register) and by color a picture of a turkey!

Eric's personal feast consisted of cookies, rolls, and a juice box, lol!

Here he is playing with his friends after the feast.

Eric and I are watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade

Evie really likes the parade too!

Evie just loves kitty cats and Callie loves to be pet, its a win-win situation that seems to be fun for Uncle Ken too!  :)

The beautifully decorated Thanksgiving table with custom made name cards by yours truly.

The 24th is Heather's birthday, I got her this super cute bowl set she was wanting.

Apparently I did good with the bowl set, lol!

Scott made peanut butter pie and it was really delicious! David is really looking forward to it too!

Papa Steve shows the kids how to use the drum pad.

It's ever so much fun!

Even Gran helps!

Then it's the dinosaur's turn, lol!

Evie loves adding accessories to her outfits, hats are one of her favorites.

Gran and Papa had a fort, complete with dinosaurs and teddy bears!

The next day we took Heather out for pizza at the pizza place with the kid zone! There were a lot of fun toys there for the kids, they had a blast in the fire truck...

and Eric loved the ball pit!

The ball pit was connected to a slide...

and next to that was a merry-go-round. but it didn't work so Auntie Heather pushed it around and the kids thought that was great!

Auntie Heather is so much fun!

Not the best photo of either of us, but the sentiment is there just the same.

Eric and Daddy had a conversation this morning about favorite colors. Daddy told him that he should start wearing his green airforce jacket because he was cold and shivering. He said he liked red. Daddy told him that Daddy likes blue and Mommy likes green. Daddy then asked Eric what color Evie liked. “mmm…Evie likes pink. Evie likes pink, Daddy.” Now we know, lol!

Eric got out of his crib by himself this morning, drank evie’s juice and his juice, told me to wake up, said, “I have poo, change my diaper!”

Scott's new running shoes!

Scott wearing his new running shoes and saying 'hi' at his latest race, the Turkey Trot!

Eric runs with Daddy as part of his 'cool down' after he finishes the race

then they decide to get in some bleacher work!

Go boys go!!! (Evie wants to go to, so i hold her hand as she goes all the way up the steps and all the way back down the steps several times)

Scott wins 2nd place in his age division! Great job!

Evie's first peanut butter cup. At first she isn't too sure what Dada is putting in her mouth, then she is so happy that she eats the rest of it for him, lol!

Just look at those curls!!!

11 photos on 11-11-11. I used my digital scrapbooking kit called "Days of Our Lives" its a huge kit for project 365 or project 52 (this blog is an example of project 52).

Evie on her scooter at Viviana's birthday party

Viviana's birthday party was at a park, the kids had a great time!

Evie really liked the balloons.

And then she got on Viviana's birthday present!  :o

Eric tried out Joseph's big boy bike.

And had a blast hitting his first pinata!

Pinata candy! (no, he didn't eat any of it, he didn't want any, lol!)

The park had a really cool play structure that looked like a train!

Evie had so much fun on it!

and under it, lol!

Eric and Daddy practice running.

Eric climbs the rock wall!

Evie wants to climb too!

Grampa Bill reads Eric a dinosaur book!

it's a good one!

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, at Grandpa Jim's house!

Eric goes to speech therapy at a local elementary school and they have an amazing playground!

With a lot of different parts!

Eric climbed all the way to the top of this climbing wall!

he has lots of fun on all the play structures

It's nice to be able to play after an hour of sitting and working so hard on his speech!
