Eric is thirteen weeks old! (3 months and 1 week)

It's growth spurt time, and we are not happy campers. Growing takes a lot out of a little person (and that little person's mommy!) We are doing the best we can to get through this little rough patch and things will be wonderful again soon!

Eric is learning to self-soothe and is fascinated with his hands. He examines them, puts them in his mouth, and tries to suck on them. I have to agree that they are pretty darn cute!

Eric is 3 months old!

Eric is making a new sound, it sounds like the "oo" in "boot" but more gutteral almost like a growl. I'm pretty sure its a happy sound, but I'm not quite sure exactly what it means. :)

Eric's toes can almost reach the end of his swing's seat! And I had to buy size 1 diapers this week! My baby is growing up! :(

Eric is eleven weeks old!

He is really gaining control of his neck muscles. He has been sitting in his bumbo chair and holding his head upright all by himself! He hasn't mastered turning his head while keeping it upright, but he is trying so hard! Sometimes he gets bored or frustrated, so we try a different activity for a while. He really enjoys his mobiles and seems facsinated by anything the color red. Of course, the bold black and white objects are wonderful too!

He seems to be right hand dominent, as his right hand will grasp his left hand and try to shove it into his mouth. Very soon, everything will be going into this mouth, lol!

Eric is ten weeks old!

This week he is reaching for objects with both his hands and toes. He doesn't quite have the motor skills for grasping or holding, but the reaching is definately there. He is changing his routine again (or should I say "still"?) His sleeping and eating patterns seem ever-changing. Still, I have to say, my son is all that and a bag of chips!!!
