Evie is 3 months old; Eric is 2 years old!

Evie is 3 months old already!!!

Tickle Tickle!!!


Eric's curriculum this month is "Explore The Shore" he really seems to be enjoying it and I just couldn't resist taking a picture of him wearing this oh-so-appropriate outfit while studying his curriculum! (His shirt has pictures of dogs surfing!)


This was little miss sleeping on the 22nd...


Just 4 days later she has taught herself to kick the other leg over! It won't be long now until she rolls completely over and is crawling all over the place!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Eric got his 2 year old shots. He did very good - he actually cried harder when I told him to stop playing with the door knob, than he did when he got the shot, lol!

On June 17th Eric said "tickle tickle" and on June 20th he said "goat!" He is also getting the hang of taking his clothes and diaper off without any help, lol!

Earlier this week, Eric locked me in the garage. I went to get his stroller and he fiddled with the deadbolt just enuf so I couldn't get the door back open. Thankfully I was able to get to the extra key - phew!

Evie is 2 months and 3 weeks old; Eric is 2 years old!

On June 2, 2010, Eric said, "night-night" to Scott! On June 4, 2010, Eric said, "what"  :)   He is also really into learning what noises animals make. He and Scott will sit on the sofa and look at a book about animals and take turns making various animal noises.

Eric has become quite good at putting things back where they belong without being told. He is also gaining a better sense of size, quantity, and other spatial relationships, so you can tell him things like, "there," "where," "inside," "outside," "near," "far," "way up in the sky," "over," "under," and he gets it!

Evie's first trip to the park. She didn't like the wind blowing on her and wasn't a very happy camper. Eric, on the other hand, had a great time. He met a little 2.5 year old girl named Makayla who tried to kiss him! He ran away from her, lol!

Evie is 2 months and 2 weeks old; Eric is 2 years old!

Eric is getting really good at shaking his head 'yes' and 'no' and actually have it mean something.

Eric will also now put his index finger on his cheek and say, "hmmmmm..."

Today he was super excited to share his phone with Evie. It was the first time I saw him actually dial numbers on the phone before he began talking/gibbering.

We are amazed daily by Evie's ability to communicate with a growing repertory of coos, smiles, and unique cries to express her different feelings and needs.


Her very first shopping trip and she shopped til she dropped!

This is my new fav pic. As soon as I am busy nursing or changing Evie, Eric will go in his closet and be real quiet. When I realize it's way too quiet, I go looking for him and say outloud, "Where's Eric?" This is what I find, lol! Then I open the closet doors and together we both say, "THERE HE IS!!!"
