Eric is 1 year, 6 months, and 1 week old!

We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Eric has started rocking himself to sleep - I remember doing the same thing throughout most of my childhood. :) It's strange that he has started now, since he hasn't been rocked to sleep in quite some time. But he is so good at putting himself to sleep now - I am such a proud Moma!

Thanksgiving with Cousin Ashley, Uncle David, Papa Steve, Gran Susan, Eric and Dada!

Dada and Eric reading a bedtime story.

I am 5 months pregnant with Evie, we helped Eric make a heart shape over his new sister with his hands, like a big hug from above! :)

Eric is 1 year and 6 months! (18 months!)

Eric turned 1 and a half on Nov 19th! His new things is putting Scott's shoes on and trying to walk around. He really likes it when Scott takes Bailey for a walk each night and takes Eric along in the stroller. Eric always wants to go outside!

Putting on shoes means going outside, so Eric will put on whatever shoes he can find!

He was able to get these on all by himself and walk around in them pretty well, lol!

Since Eric turned one and a half on Nov 19, I got him this little red and white soccer ball as a little treat. I put it in with some of his other toys so it would be a surprise new toy... you can see how much he enjoyed it :(

Who wants a crumby old soccer ball when you can play with the much more fun and exciting toys from Grandma???

Scott got an early Christmas present from his parents! Thanks Mom & Steve!!!

Our Thanksgiving Dinner, pic 1 (gravy, cheesy mashed potatoes, turkey breast, and peas with a dollop of butter)

Our Thanksgiving Dinner, pic 2 (stuffing and sweet potatoes)

This scrapbook layout was part of an online contest I entered and won! :) The picture is Thanksgiving at Grandma Linda and Grandpas Bill's house, Grandpa Jim was there too! Stay tuned next week for Thanksgiving pix at Gran and Papa's house with Uncle David and Cousin Ashley! :)

Eric is 1 year, 5 months, and 4 weeks old!

Tuesday, when Scott came home from work, Eric said, "Hi Dada!" and ran to hug him. Scott and I were both shocked and look at each other like "did you hear that too or was it just me?" lol! Besides his first two-word sentence, Eric's other new things this week are knocking, clapping when people on TV clap, and waving and saying "baa" (meaning 'bye') after people close the door behind them! :)

Eric loves his kitty cat Mook. On Nov 8, he said "kitty cat!"

I see a fraternity table and lamp shade in his future, lol!

he had his bath, got his new jammies on, and is combing his hair!

checking out the neighbor boy's skateboard... hmmm... (thanks for the super cute shoes, Kellie!)

Eric is 1 year, 5 months, and 3 weeks old!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant this week and I think I have been feeling the new one move for about 5 days. Today we found out the gender of our new baby!

It's a GIRL!!! Her name is Evelyn Evangeline, we will call her Evie Angel. :) :) :)

You are never too young to recycle! :)

Eric and Dada 'working' on the computer (because Fantasy Football is important to learn!)

Grandpa Jim's shirt says, "This is what a really cool grandpa looks like"

Eric LOVES music, he helped grandpa jim play the guitar strings as well as drummed on the guitar while grandpa was playing, lol!

Eric had a play day with our next door neighbors

The neighbors have an 11 month old little girl, it was nice for Eric to interact with a baby since he will have a new sister soon.

Eric is 1 year, 5 months, and 2 weeks old!

Eric is now knocking! He will knock on doors, walls, toys, and anything else he can reach! On October 28, Eric's top two bicuspids popped through!

I am now 19 weeks pregnant and had a Dr. appt today. The baby's heartbeat is 165 beats per minute and the doctor says everything sounds good. We will be finding out the baby's sex next week!!!

We had a wonderful Halloween!

We each have a pumpkin: Eric's is the big one carved to look just like the pumpkin Handy Manny carved (its his favorite show so we just had to do a tribute!) Mine is the little one with the stem for a nose, I used a Martha Stewart template. Scott's is the skull and he carved his without a template or anything!!!

The best part of Halloween for Eric was running around the neighborhood!

he was shy when people opened the door...

but when offered candy, he would happily take a sucker. (sorry about the flash in this pic, not sure what happened) He seemed to like suckers the best, meaning he chewed the paper stick of the sucker, he was not interested in actually eating any candy, lol!

Here he is at the last house. The next best part of Halloween, for Eric, was when we finally got home and people came to the door because Eric got to close the door 900 times in a row, lol!
