Dec 25: I asked Eric
· How old do you think Santa is? 5 years old
· How many elves does Santa have? 7
· How many reindeer does Santa have in training? 10
· What is your favorite Christmas color? purple
· Do you think twinkling lights are better or solid lights? twinkling
· What is your favorite Christmas song? Jingle bells
· How does Santa fit down a chimney? Not so well, just ‘boop!’ and he fell down… and his tummy is WAY too big.
· Who is your favorite reindeer? Rudolph

The first two layouts sit together side by side, but they don't fit like that on the blog...

Dec 18: Eric: "So, Mommy?" (this is how he starts all his sentences currently)
Me: "Yes, Eric"
Eric: "Well, Santa doesn't have a cape. Only Batman and Superman have capes."
Me: (trying not to laugh at just how cute he is) "That's right hunny! Great observation!"

Dec 21: Eric laid down in bed and started moving his arms and legs back and forth and said, “Look Mommy, I’m making a snow angel!”

Dec 23: Fav quote of the week from Eric… “Ok, Evie, but try not to smush cheese into Daddy’s pants while he is sleeping on the sofa ever again please.”

Dec 11: I made this Jellyfish In A Bottle for the kids today: http://bhoomplay.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/diy_jellyfish_eng/

Dec 15: I love when Evie curls into me and just falls back asleep. Having someone that finds you that comforting and trusts you completely is an amazing feeling ♥

Dec 16: I introduced Eric to johnny castaway today. I installed it on the computer in his room and he sat there for hours watching it and laughing!!! :)

Dec 6: Evie suddenly started calling me Mommie today instead of Mama, which is what she has been calling me since she could talk. The letter ‘t’ she puts at the end of all her words is slowly turning into an ‘s.’ Amazing how speech evolves!

Dec 9: Eric woke up and told me his new iron man costume fell off and he needed help finding it. I told him he was having a dream and that a dream is just pretend, its not real, so there was no new iron man costume to find. He said he understood and went to play, but a few hours later told me he wanted to take a nap so he could dream about his new iron man costume again. I guess I know what to get him for Christmas, lol!

Dec 4: today at Safeway, Evie was sitting in the big part of the cart and some really old grandpa came up to her and said, "Hi Tiffany, are you being a good girl today?" and talked to her for like 7 minutes. Then was angry that she wasn't answering. Then some lady came up behind the grandpa and was trying to get him to move his cart so she could get by and he refused to move so he could keep talking and getting angry at Evie. I told Evie to say hi to the grandpa, but she refused. I told the grandpa she was shy today, but he ignored me. I told Evie to say goodbye and she refused so I just kept asking her as I walked the cart onto the next isle. It was really weird and uncomfortable.

Dec 8: rooting for Scott's number 162774 to be pulled in the #ws100 lottery!!!!

It's jam time!

Some of the jam became teacher gifts!

I also made soap for teacher gifts!
(I got a new scrapboooking app for my phone, and I am in love, lol!)

Every year there is a small town christmas festival where they light up the tree in the center of town and the kids sit with Santa... there is something so ethereal about the kids in this photo, it makes me realize what amazing little beings they are, and I am so thankful.

Nov 22: Thanksgiving with S&S

Nov 25: Heather’s bday

Nov 26: I saw a shooting star tonight while taking bills to the mailbox

Evie got invited to Eric's preschool for their thanksgiving day feast. Here she is helping to pull apart bread to make the stuffing. She seems to be helping eat it as well, lol!

She loves school and can't wait to attend! Look at how diligently she is working!

Eric and Jacob work on their hats with the other students.

Evie makes fast friends and they all work on a project together.

Evie and Jacob play together until the thanksgiving feast is ready.

The feast is ready!

Eric is concerned he might have to eat something other than peanut butter and honey sandwich. He decides a dinner roll is a good substitute, but refuses to try any of the other foods. Look at the cute turkey art he made!

Evie just wants to eat cookies.

Gran and Papa Steve have a park near their house. The kids love the slide and want Papa Steve to join them.

Papa Steve is totally cool!!!

After the playground, its time for a drum lesson!

And some good old fashion dancing!

I am thankful for:  i love that evie gets in bed with me in the middle of the night and cuddles with me until she falls asleep. i love that eric loves super heroes right now and that he and scott will watch countless episodes of batman and have excellent father-son time. i love that eric has to stop playing periodically just to come and give me a hug and kiss, and then go back to what he was doing. i love that at just 2 years old evie is a strong woman who tells it like it is and doesn't back down from fear, aggression, or predetermined precedents. i love dressing her up and i love that she loves dresses. i love that when i put my clothes on in the morning that she comes and tells me that she loves my pretty new shirt (even tho i've had it before she was born, lol). i love my house and that i got to customize it, i love my beautiful vaulted ceilings and that my washer and dryer are inside the house. i love my car, its not a mini van (which i never wanted) and its not a gas guzzling SUV that i have to get a ladder to climb into it with. i'm so glad i live in california, when i think about all the jobs that scott applied for and that i could be living in washington DC or colorado, i shudder a little bit, lol. i am so lucky! life is gooooood!

Evie is thankful for the harvest, lol! She is picking the ornamental plums off the tree.

Eric is thankful for super heroes!!!

Thank you for all the mail, the kids get such a kick out of helping open up the mailbox and finding they have received cards!

Here is the school work Eric brought home.

Nov 18: Scott and Eric are playing doctor and patient. Scott uses the stethoscope on Eric and says, “I can hear your heart beat.” Eric says its his turn, he takes the stethoscope and puts it on Scott’s heart. Scott says, “Can you hear my heart beating?” Eric says yes. Scott asks, “What does it sounds like?” Eric says, “It says, Daddy, I love you.”

Rail Fair inspired the boys to get out the Christmas train and start putting it together! What fun!

While the boys were at Rail Fair, Evie and I went to the neighbor girl's birthday party.

Eric's school project had homework that involved bringing vegetables to school, this is what they created with them!

Sugar for Dada!

Grandpa Jim's birthday.

Evie loves to go for rides in the car!

The kids won't eat the food, but they love the toys, lol!

We are working on his speech therapy homework together.

Quality time with Dada.

Yup, that's my girl! LOL!
