Evie is 1 year, 10 months and 3 weeks old; Eric is 3.5 years old!

Photos taken this week: 27

Eric wakes up at 7am and runs into my bedroom, climbs up the side of my bed and says, “mom, wake up, it morning time!” (no 's' on 'it')

So, as I have mentioned, the kids think Taco Bell is the only restaurant there is, or maybe that it is called The Restaurant, lol. This is the park across the street from Taco Bell, life just could not be more perfect -- delicious food for moma and dada AND a playground for the kiddos!

Eric had Open House Night at school. It just happened to be dinosaur curriculum this month, so I got a bunch of pix of all his dino projects! Eric helped make this dinosaur and paint the tree! Eric's curriculum is spread over three classrooms: the red room, green room, and blue room. The red room is art and music with Mrs. Melissa, the green room is language arts, reading, and writing with Mrs. Suki, and the blue room is science and math with Ms. Kelli.

"D" is for dinosaur! Ms. Kelli asked me if I knew anything about David Krentz and since we are such huge dino lovers in this house, of course I knew a ton! She asked me if there was a biography on him because she wanted to get a book to read to the kids, but I didn't know of one. I told her I would look around and see what I could find. I found a ton of great info, but no book, so I made a book, had it printed and bound and gave it to her so she could read it to the kids. I had an extra one printed and bound for us at home.  :)

Here is a poll taken at school of everyone's favorite dinosaur. Eric is pointing to his name on the list, his favorite dinosaur is the T-Rex!

There were so many cute dino art projects, just look at these little stegosauruses!

Having a park across the street from the house is such a blessing!!! We visit it often!

uh oh, must be bedtime, lol! its so hard to go to bed during snuggle time with Dada!

I have set the alarm on my cell phone so everyone knows when its bedtime for Evie and when its bedtime for Eric (this helps us stay on a good routine and keeps everyone aware of what time it is and what needs to be done). This is the picture I get when the alarm goes off on my phone for Evie's bedtime.  :)

Evie took Scott’s wedding ring off and put it on her big toe. This girl LOVES jewelry!

I usually make the bed when I get up. Today, after I made the bed, Evie got in and un-made it, lol. Eric walks into my bedroom and says, “Mom, the bed is messy, you fix it?”

And speaking of messy beds, here's Mr. Sleeps With Dinos (I love the way he can hold more dinos at one time by holding them by the tails, lol! I will now be picking them up that way too!)

Sugar for Dada!

Eric got dino shoes for Christmas, but they didn't fit, when his new ones arrived, Evie got new shoes too! Thank you Gramma Linda!

Dino-soles shoes are AMAZING!!! Not only do they look super cool, but the t-rex's eyes light up red!

I had a really nice birthday. I woke up to hugs and kisses!  :)

Then, Scott took the day off work and we all had some nice family bonding time. We all took Eric to his very first speech class, then I had a massage. On the way home from the massage, I saw the sun set over the buttes. Then I stopped to pick up my fav ollalieberry pie and vanilla ice cream. When I got home scott had made a delicious dinner and then warmed up the pie in the oven for us all to enjoy! Scott got me a new digital camera!

My friend, Ashley's bday is Jan 6 and mine is the 18th, so we celebrated with pizza, cupcakes and scrapbooking!

After picking Eric up from preschool on the 19th, we went to have lunch with Scott at Carl’s Jr. and there were three roosters and a chicken in the parking lot. Evie kept saying, “I see a bok” over and over again, lol. Eric thought it was the best thing ever too and kept asking me if I could hear the rooster crowing, lol!

This is a super cute video interview with Eric. Click the image to be taken to another site to watch the video.

Eric is fast asleep, but the baby is still awake? They were so cute sitting in Eric's bed watching a dino movie together. :)

It's trail ridin' time!

Mook says the heck with trails, its nap time, lol!

Our junior detective is examining a plastic dragonfly with his little magnifying glass. (look at those eye lashes!)

Dada's girl!

Have I mentioned that the boy loves dinosaurs?

Sometimes we go to McDonald's to let the kids play, Eric refers to it as "Old MacDonald's" (as in the farm)! This McDonald's has a three-story play structure, its pretty amazing. These photos were taken on the second story.

When Eric goes to preschool, Evie and I go to Toddler Time, its like pre-preschool, lol!

Eric LOVES playing dinos...

Scott and I spend an exorbitant amount of time 'playing dinos' with Eric.

Because of my pinguecula, my optomotrist said I need to start wearing sunglasses. I have never worn sunglasses in my life. When I was young, there was an incident with the spoke end of an umbrella which impaled my eyeball. Since then, I have never wanted anything anywhere near my eyes. I had a really hard time finding sunglasses, but finally found a pair that I think I can deal with wearing and that weren't too expensive.

Evie says, “there’s the ma” and “there’s the da” when either of us walk into the room :)

Stories with Dada are the best! Everyone fights for the prime seat on Dada's lap, lol!

Peek-a-boo, I see you!!!

The original garage band! It started in the garage and moved into the yard, complete with broom guitar and drum sticks to drum on everything!
