Evie Daisypath Anniversary tickers PitaPata Cat tickers

Monday, September 24, 2012

Evie is 2 years, 7 months and 1 week old; Eric is 4 years old!

Photos taken this week: 51

We are having a huge tickle war, Eric is laughing so hard he says his smile hurts!

Eric: “Momma, I really want my teeth to fall out because I love the tooth fairy.”
Me: “But Eric, you don’t see the tooth fairy, she comes while you’re sleeping.”
Eric: “But what about my tooth!?!” covers eyes like he is going to cry, but just can’t muster any tears for his ridiculous fake senario, lol! (there’s some video footage of this HERE)

Eric: Momma, this is my favorite car!
Me: It is?
Eric: Yes, because it helps me scratch my itch.

I found a lego magazine just for kids Eric's age and subscribed to it. Every month Eric gets a lego magazine with fun activities and comic strips and how to build new lego models like this one! The instructions are so easy, that I was able to help him build it! lol!

This one wasn't in the magazine, its a Scott Bowden specialty mini machine!

She takes up the entire Queen size bed by sleeping sideways and spreading her blankets out all over. She reminds me of a mermaid swimming in warm tropical serene waters.

Eric playing with play dough at school, sitting next to Abigail, Mahaan is at the end of the table, on the other side of the table are two kids from the younger class.

Guess what Evie and Daddy found in the garage?

Snuggle time is my most favorite time of all!!! ♥♥♥

Click on the image to watch a video of Eric answering a series of questions. His answers are so smart and cute!

Mom and I went to see Gymnastics! What a great show! Thanks Mom! Check out the photos of the show (I didn't take these photos, they were on the tour's website. I took a bunch of photos but they didn't turn out).

Eric at school playing with the train table.

Playing dinosaurs at school with Jacob (across the table) and Mahaan (to the right,) I don't know who is under the table, lol.

More legos that really function!

This one looks like a hot rod!

I made them little library cards, and they played library for a long while, it was super cute and fun!

Eric said he wanted to play detective, so we gathered up a bunch of detective gear and found a case to solve! If you click the image you can go to a larger size. The photos of him turned out really cute, so I made a scrapbook kit to go with them called "Crime Scene" which also has a coordinating alphabet and bones.

Time for some gymnastics!

Walking back to the car after the parade in the dress and hair band I made for her. She picked up 1000 rocks along the way, this girl LOVES rocks!

Playing 'tops' with Grampa Bill.

Playing puzzles with Gramma Linda.

Puzzles are fun for everyone!

Eric randomly asks to eat some yogurt, we are all shocked! Thankfully we had yogurt in the house and I gave him some and he tasted several tiny drops! Click the photo to watch a video of Eric eating yogurt.

Mr. 'Sleeps with Trains' lol!

Evie’s speech is coming along so well, she is using full sentences and I can understand almost everything she says. She is still going to the bathroom every 15 minutes. Potty training two kids at once is kicking my butt!

Evie woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and has not been a happy camper. Example: She and Eric were looking at a book and she decided it was too far away from her, or Eric was hogging it, or something and she tackled him and started screaming and yelling at him. Once he was properly subdued, she got up, took her book to a safe distance, then returned to Eric to yell at him some more, screeching, “please stop!!!” and putting her hand out to stop him, then pointing towards the door and calling is name and pointing, basically telling him to get out. Eric was just sitting there sort of baffled at the on-goings and kept bringing his hand up to his forehead as if to say, “What on earth???”

The lego craze has taken hold!

Eric and Daddy work together to make all kinds of amazing vehicles

Check out the front view of this one...

and this is the back view, it even has a cargo hold!

they also make aircraft!

new and old, lol!

and spacecraft too!

and check this out!!!

and don't forget skateboarding guy!

Jacob and Eric at the park. Jacob goes to preschool with Eric. On Monday afternoons we meet Jacob and his mom at the park so the kids can all play together.

bike riding with Daddy and Bailey and Evie (see below)

She is getting better at trying to peddle by herself.

waving to her shadow, lol, how cute is that?!?

I really like ice cream and so I think Eric is trying really hard to like it too. He asked for a waffle cone but didn't want any ice cream in it. So I got him a sample spoon with some chocolate ice cream on it. He didn't end up eating either.

Aug 25: The earth’s summer fever finally broke and we had a ‘cool’ night, it got down to 73. It’s been so hard to sleep with the heat of the summer and we have all been having bad dreams.

It's the baby doll's turn to be toilet trained. Turns out, she rather non-compliant as well, lol!

This cracked me up! It's the lego bin, but there are no legos in it. But when the lid is open it sort of looks like a chair seat and back. Well, Evie decided it was a car seat and sat down, then took the green string and used it as a seatbelt, and finally put her hands up to an imaginary wheel and started to drive!!!

This is exhaustion!

She has so many facial expressions, even in her sleep, lol!

Sugar for Mook!

Momma and Evie take Eric to school and that means treats for us, woo hoo! My girl is a purest, she chooses chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, no sprinkles!

This was so cute, Eric was strumming the guitar and Evie was dancing!

Happy 5th birthday Bailey! Bailey is eating a treat Eric just gave him! Bailey got balloons and streamers and a fun family walk, plus lots of birthday treats!

Grandpa Jim came over to introduce us to his new friend Pam. She is very nice and we all joke (even Jim) that we have no idea why she is with him, lol!

Scott made us all a huge and amazingly delicious lunch. Evie served cake for dessert, lol!
