Evie Daisypath Anniversary tickers PitaPata Cat tickers

Monday, October 3, 2011

Evie is 1 year, 6 months and 2 weeks old; Eric is 3 years old!

Photos taken this week: 56

Eric has started humming to himself as he plays. Usually the tune sounds like “twinkle twinkle little star” (also daddy’s fav).

The boys signed up for the Yosemite Dual Sport Motorcycle Adventure! It's a two-day AMA Sanctioned dual sport event held at the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Buck Meadows California. And is all about getting into the back-country and enjoying the trails. It's two days of adventure including scenic & historic destinations in and around Yosemite National Park and the Stanislaus National Forest with approximately 100 miles of riding each day! All routes are approximately 85% dirt and they had to sign up early because only 100 tickets were available! There was also a BBQ and raffle (the BBQ funds benefit the Sports Club of San Joaquin County which helps those with special needs enjoy the outdoors, and the raffle funds are donated to Blue Ribbon Coalition).

I took a few pictures through the window but they didn't turn out well, here's one of David's motorcycle as he leaves our house Monday morning. It sounds like a busy weekend, and they didn't really have time to take pictures, but they had lots of fun! And lots of 'adventure' lol, here's a direct quote from David, "It was an all GO event. We never really slowed down from the time we left your house, to the time the motorcycles fell off the trailer and we had to navigate a road that even the locals hate."

They got some really cool shirts too!

We wanted to get Eric a computer for Christmas, and Gramma Linda & Grampa Bill indulged us early!!! :) :) :)

There's nothing more relaxing than your favorite magazine and a cup of green tea

Ahhhh...

My GORGEOUS boy! (this is my new fav pic of him)

with flowers for his Mama!

This girl LOVES shoes, and look at those curls!!!

Grandpa Jim's lap just isn't quite big enough, lol!

Climbing the rock wall...

...deep in thought. (love love love this pic)

Evie, its time to leave the park. What do you mean 'bye'? Please come home with us, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

Hey, where are you going? That's the wrong way!

My favorite shirt (and several others) are destroyed when Scott threw his running shoes into a load of my light colored clothes. :(  You know its bad when it comes out of the completed wash cycle looking like this.

Uh oh, she just couldn't wait for nap time! (yes, she has THREE blankies, the blue one is Eric's from when he was a baby, but he discarded it and Evie happily acquired it, lol! she really loves the satin feel of these double-sided blankets.)

McDonald's play land -- Evie's driving!

Tunnel time!

Sliding down the slide!

Eric jumping down ALL the stairs at once! WOW!

Eric helping me make a dinosaur scrapbook all about him and his dinos. He colored several dinosaur pix and helped me to glue down the embellishments!  :)
