Evie Daisypath Anniversary tickers PitaPata Cat tickers

Monday, December 5, 2011

Evie is 1 year, 8 months and 3 weeks old; Eric is 3.5 years old!

Photos taken this week: 31

This week (on Dec 4) Evie learned how to open doors all by herself!

I got an email from Creating Keepsakes magazine, they love my submission and will be publishing my photo of Evie in their magazine next December!

Eric built a spaceship! Don't ya just love the cheesy smile? I said, "Say cheese," not "make cheese," lol!

Evie LOVES her kitty cat Mook! She puts her head on his back as if hugging him and when she is done she says, "Awe!" like he is the cutest thing ever and her hug to him was also the cutest thing ever, lol!

I love it when they play together. I love hearing the giggles, I love seeing the sharing and camaraderie, I love that they are working together as a team, helping each other and having fun doing it. It seems like Eric has waited so long for Evie to be old enough to understand peer-to-peer play, and now that she does, they just have a blast together!
In this instance, they are not building blocks. They are pretending the wagon is an alligator. Eric is working the yellow mouth and Evie is feeding the alligator. Every time Evie gets her hand close enough to throw in a block/treat, the alligator tries to bite her. As you can see by the look on their faces, this is pretty darn hilarious!

Papa Steve created this very special personalized Christmas train just for Eric and Evie. He made it and painted it and decorated not only the train, but the entire town that the train circles.

Both kids were ecstatic about the custom train present! Eric very diligently listened to instructions on how to operate the train...

and Evie picked up the train car with her name on it and ran away, lol!

This is a great photo of the town before Tornado Evelyn hit, injurying thousands and destroying the town to almost nothing. (Everytime Scott or I turned around, Evie was handing one of us another tree, pretty soon we had a stack of trees on our fireplace mantel. Maybe next Christmas we will buy the town some tornado insurance as their gift!)

Lol I'll never forget when I walked in the door and Evie handed me a part of a tree, I was sooo confused. Love the alligator game!
